Joint DOD and DOA detection for MIMO radar based on signal subspace reconstruction and matching

In this study, the Direction Of Departure (DOD) and Arrival (DOA) of signals detection for Multi-Input Multi-Output (MIMO) radar is discussed. A novel signal subspace reconstruction model to match obtained based on covariance matrix array output developed enhance performance DOD DOA detection. scheme, technology beamforming first introduced define an objective space in mathematics targets be detected. By considering orthogonality between noise defining a index subspace, multi-dimensional function established. Therefore, problem transformed into optimization function. Subsequently, Quantum-Behaved Particle Swarm Optimization (QPSO) employed optimize determine optimal subspace. At same time can fast captured. series simulations demonstrate that proposed method provides significant accuracy improvements detection, especially low signal-to-noise ratio thresholds small snapshots.
